Team Home For Mac
I have several el capitain 10.11 users running Office for Mac 2016. We have found that Team site files can be accessed if they are of that programs file type. In other words, open Word files in Word, Excel in Excel. However we have been unable to find a way to browse a team site to access non MS Office files or just see everything in one place. We tried OneDrive for Business Mac sync client Preview , but it only syncs 'My Sites' and not 'Team sites' from what I could tell, does anyone know if it allows team site sync? I also tried to run Office 2011 installer to install the 'document connection' but it throws an error when I try and open the program.
I know the files can be accessed via a web browser, but that is no ideal. What are others doing here? Hi Iris, I have a few follow up questions on this.
Team Home For Macbook
Just to confirm, I can't install Document Connection tool from Office 2011 and use Office for Mac 2016 apps on the same computer? The print screen you shows is a good way to open up MS Office docs via the MS office program you are working with.
However, to confirm, there is no way to open up 3rd party files like JPG or PDF? Also, I have to know the file is there and which type of MS Office program is was made in in order to find the file, right? Hi climb, here are answers to your questions: 1. It is answered in question 4 of that we can use office 2016 for mac and office for mac 2011 on the same mac. No, we can’t open 3rd party files with this method. For your requirement, we should continue working with the microsoft document connection tool. Regarding the situation, could you provide the error message when installing office for mac 2011?
